This week, I had the honor of photographing a Navy retirement ceremony at the historic World War II Memorial. What made this event especially meaningful was the connection to the retiree’s father, who fought during World War II. Standing at a place that represents so much sacrifice and courage, surrounded by family and friends who traveled from all over, made the moment truly memorable. After more than 20 years of dedicated service, it was a fitting tribute to a career marked by dedication and duty.
